Matan Kichler
I am a M.Sc student in the Department of Computer Science and Applied Mathematics at the Weizmann Institute of Science. Prior to that, I completed my B.Sc. in Applied Mathematics (summa cum laude) and B.Sc. in Computer Science (summa cum laude) at Holon Institute of Technology (HIT).
My primary research interests are in computational imaging and the development of deep learning methods for computer vision. I’m currently working in Professor Mark Sheinin’s lab, where we use laser-speckle vibrometry to sense object vibrations and apply those measurements to solve a variety of problems.
Teaching Assistant Experience
During my third year at HIT in 2024, I worked as a Teaching Assistant. I led recitations and graded exams for the following courses:
- Linear Algebra (winter 2024)
- Probability Theory (winter 2024)
- Complex Functions (spring 2024)
- Partial Differential Equations (spring 2024)
